An opportunity has arisen for a Class 2 HGV Grab Lorry Driver who will be based at our Main Yard in Penrith, Cumbria.

Experience:
The individual must be reliable, self-motivated and flexible
Position is to start immediately

Responsibilities:

Ability to Operate the Grab Lorry in a safe and efficient way following all company policies and procedures.
Carry out daily defect checks reporting any faults to the Transport Manager.
Deliver and collect materials on selected routes.
Liaise with Customers and/or Site Personnel in a Safe and Professional Manner.
Ensure the Lorry and it’s Load are safe and secure at all times.
Ensure the Safety of members of the public and operational staff whilst the HGV is operating.
To complete all required work and/or Paperwork required.
Build Strong relationships with Customers and/or Site Personnel.
Act Professionally at all times.
Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety Regulations are met. Including wearing full PPE at all times.
Have experience of dealing with Customers in person.
Good Geographical knowledge.
Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachograph Rules and Legislation.
Rates of pay to be discussed.

Job Requirements
• Class 2 licence and Grab Experience
• Holder of a valid Driver CPC Licence, Lorry Loader/Grab (clamshell ticket)
