Metcalfe is proud to have commenced works on the National Highways A66 Northern Trans-Pennine project, from Junction 40 at Penrith through to Kemplay Roundabout.

As part of this landmark infrastructure scheme, our Civil Engineering team is delivering the installation of the main site compound and hardening of the central reservation. These essential facilitation works will help enable the wider National Highways programme to progress.

The central reservation works have been carefully planned in collaboration with our supply partner, Heidelberg Materials UK, helping to ensure a robust and efficient delivery.

The A66 Northern Trans-Pennine project represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments in Cumbria in recent years, and we are delighted to be playing a part in its delivery.
