Construction Waste Reclaimed and Recycled into Secondary Aggregates Demolition Contracting
Metcalfe Plant Hire (MPH) supports and embraces the RECOVER – RECLAIM – RECYCLE – REUSE principles in the construction industry and recycles construction waste into secondary aggregates at our Mardale Road Depot producing finished WRAP Quality Protocol Recycled Aggregates.
MPH has an Environment Agency permit to undertake waste recycling operations at its Mardale Road Depot, Penrith Industrial Estate, Penrith, Cumbria, (behind Penrith Truck Stop), which handles construction and building industry waste products.
We can also offer full services as demolition contractors.
On-site we have various screeners and crushers to separate and segregate the waste into new stockpiled products for sale to the industry and general public.
The aggregates and materials we produce and stockpile for sale are as follows:
- Sub-base
- 6F5
- Pipe bedding
- Drainage stone
- Topsoil
- Sand
- Road Planings
- Class 1A Fill
These environmentally friendly products can be safely used instead of Primary Aggregates to meet with construction specifications from large stock piles of our recycled materials are available all year round.
Delivery can be made from our depot via various transport methods:
- Grab and HIAB wagon
- 32T tipper wagon
- 26T tipper wagon
- 7.5T tipper wagon
- 1T pick up
- Bulk bags
- Collection by customer
These facilities are open 07:30 – 17:00 Mon – Fri, and can be available outside these hours by request.
